Pumping and Technical Services Limited is a specialist British pump company with a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise in the design and manufacture of bespoke pumping equipment. A family business since 1978, the Company’s aim continues to be the manufacture of special purpose built pumps for the chemical and petro-chemical industries to our own designs and constructed from a variety of exotic materials. Our abilities in “leading edge” design attract higher premiums than the intrinsic value of the materials of construction.

A BS EN ISO 9001 accredited company; our user base includes the major chemical and petrochemical industry blue chip companies such as ConocoPhillips, INEOS Chlor & Fluor, I.C.I., B.N.F.L., Shell, B.P., Esso. Texaco, TOTAL Fina, A.E.A. etc., together with links with most of the major pump manufacturers where we are often commissioned for design projects or supply of units which are not available from standard ranges.

In line with our philosophy of being here to help our customers overcome pumping problems we also have a thriving “sideline” in the supply of reconditioned pumps.

Naturally, our many years in business have resulted in an excess of 1000 pumps manufactured, which require back-up service in terms of spare parts supply, and overhaul/repair facilities. This activity is a major element of our output, having been expanded to include a general pump repair service.

We have fully certified test facilities for flowrates up to 600m3/hr and pressures up to 1000m head.

Almost incidental to the above has been the development of a standard range of air powered diaphragm pumps in plastics materials – indeed we are the only U.K. manufacturer of conventional P.T.F.E. diaphragm pumps, all others currently on the market being imported.
