An order for 2 off vertical mounted centrifugal pumps for operation in tanks and sumps at speed of 2,900rpm. 

The PATS series 'S' is a range of vertical sump pumps with the hydraulic pump end custom designed for special operating conditions. The mechanical assembly comprises a rigid line shaft, supporting column, supporting bearings and a discharge pipe assembly, all mounted on a supporting sole-plate. An appropriate thrust bearing assembly is mounted at the top end of the shaft and housed in the motor mounting stool. The line shaft bearings are individually fed with grease at a controlled rate from a mechanical lubricator unit, driven from the pump shaft. 

A cartridge mechanical vapour seal is provided where the shaft passes through the pump support plate.

The pump delivery pipe terminates above the pump support plate.
